I am a New Mexico-based freelance writer and editor focused on art, visual culture, literature, and creative essay forms.

As an arts writer I'm interested in expressions of concept and beauty not bound by genre, architecture's relationship to culture, performance magic, and art's intersections with phenomological elements of the natural world. As a creative writer, I'm currently exploring themes of hauntings as metaphor, memory as storytelling, and grief. As an editor, I prioritize structure, clarity, and equity.

I've been the managing editor at Southwest Contemporary, a Santa Fe-based journal of Southwestern art; the arts and lit editor for the Weekly Alibi, Albuquerque's former alt weekly, and senior editor at a small environmental nonprofit in Albuquerque focused on publishing accessible, research-informed writing.
